founder and ceo

Penelope lived in an orphanage and dreamed of finding her place in the world. She has survived many hardships and as a first-generation American has carved out a space for herself.

She developed a passion for technology while putting herself through college and learned software development on the job, programming within two weeks with no IT education.

Diverseworks is her third startup. She is incredibly passionate about building businesses. Due to her curiosity, continual love of learning, and keen understanding of her clients' needs she created an inclusive digital hub of diverse professionals from diverse industries because diverse works.

Due to her lived experience she advocates for those who are marginalized. In her spare time, she volunteers and builds community for social impact and strives to be the role model and mentor that she never had.
